Our Story

Some brief words about us.

Our story is one filled with passion and love for God, and for his special creation, people. Nueva Vida began with the dream and call to reach lost people. So Nueva Vida began in the home of Pastors Rodriguez on March 22, 2015.

The church advances with enthusiasm to fulfill the call of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

With God’s help, we look forward to seeing many souls saved, and lives changed in the communities of Douglas County, and beyond. By reflecting Jesus Christ, we believe that our vision of bringing new life to the world will be fulfilled!

Peter & Raquel Rodriguez

Pastor Peter Rodriguez has served the church of Christ since his teens: being a participant and coordinator of various youth and music ministries. He is a nurse by profession, and continues in that capacity as a bivocational minister. Motivated by love modeled by Jesus Christ, he has volunteered with a number of nonprofit programs, and is the co-founder of the Castle Rock-based youth sports program, La Liga Fútbol Club. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Raquel, and has three children: Noah, Luke, and Jaden.

Our heart is for the people and loving them with our resources.

Our mission is: to reach the lost; to ensure that each member becomes a disciple and that they disciple; encourage every believer to worship God in spirit and in truth; establish the kingdom of God in every home; invest our resources in the Kingdom of God and our community; nurture and strengthen fellowship among God’s family and community.
